Tamara Thebert is a licensed psychotherapist (#53456) and psychospiritual educator in Berkeley, CA in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Through a relationship of trust and compassion, I provide a safe space to help you change your relationship to the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and energies that create suffering. With a balanced approach that both accepts where you are in your process and addresses your immediate needs for action, we create a framework for healing.
I am present, warm, intuitive, grounded, and appreciative of your unique experience. While I hold an optimistic perspective, I am neither afraid nor hesitant to go into the deepest and darkest places with you. I trust that whatever happens in our time together is exactly what needs to be unfolding for healing.
When things aren’t going well, we have another chance to engage in whatever is blocking us from living fully. These are the times when the questions, doubts, and fears begin and, ironically, when the opportunities to heal and transform present themselves. Most of us know this at some level, yet finding support may feel challenging.
Providing support, listening to the stirrings of the soul, noticing energies, and collaborating about possibilities is the honor that I am blessed to call my work.
Using a psychospiritual approach with best practices from psychotherapy and spiritual counseling, we move together to reduce suffering and illuminate your optimal potentialities for long-term success.
What sets me apart from other psychotherapists, is my training in consciousness studies, spiritual and religious studies, neuroscience, ecopsychology, and astrology which informs how I assist you in navigating effective solutions that promote balance in the mind, body, and spirit.
Whether you are suffering from depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, and/or substance abuse, I can help. If you would like to see my availability and schedule an appointment, go to my appointment book.
